Events in Florence

The Florence State Museums Reservations Office announces that from March 5th to March 10th 2019 the Culture Week will take place during which free admission to Italian state art venues is provided.

Free Museums - First Sunday of the month free museums!

Galleria degli Uffizi, Palazzo Pitti and Giardino di Boboli: 24 March, 23 June, 11 October and 31 October
Galleria degli Uffizi: 26 May, 2 June, 11 August and 6 November
Palazzo Pitti and Giardino di Boboli: March 17, August 4, August 27 and November 30

State Museums will remain free and not bookable for the first Sundays of the months between October and March. The first Sundays, included between the months of April and September, will instead be admissible for payment which can be booked.

On the days indicated, the possibility of admission booked in the museums concerned will no longer be provided: therefore visitors will access without being able to use the reservation as on the first Sundays of the month.
