Working hours
Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm - Florentine people work very hard so you can dispel the popular myth of the siesta with most offices and shops working "non stop" all through the day. Nevertheless most Food shops in Florence i.e. "alimentari" close from 1 p.m. and re-open at 17:00. If hungry inbetween these hours try one of the many excellent Rosticceria's as a stop gap between meals.

Time and distance to Duomo
The Hotel is located near the city centre and only 5 minutes walk from the Duomo.

Time and distance to shopping
The City Centre of Florence is where the best shops can be found although there are some marvellous shops near the Hotel San Giorgio.
